Creative Lead

Function as Creative Lead for Torque Creative, the in-house marketing and creative services agency for Mercedes-Benz USA. Manage creative department with 40+ members across five teams, elevating the quality of creative to surpass that of outside agencies and ensuring work meets best-in-class standards. Collaborate with numerous internal departments to drive brand strategy across multiple platforms, including print advertising, CRM, B to B advertising, social media, direct mail, radio, television, e-learning courses, video and photography campaigns, events, and print and digital training materials.

Took on first cross-disciplinary team lead position within the agency, overseeing creative execution for print and digital projects. Managed staff, mentoring them to work together to meet client needs and exceed expectations. Supervised expanded teams when responsible for special projects or pitches. Oversaw internal and external vendors tasked with managing photo/video shoots, production, retouching, and illustration. Generated and executed ideas via development of strategic brand platforms and promotional campaigns for clients, such as Kellogg’s, Reckitt Benckiser, and Seeds of Change. Elevated brand relationships by developing fully integrated, insight-driven programs.

Oversaw creation of content and assets for brand platforms, advertising, promotions, direct marketing, and events. Provided direction and creative support for client-to-customer initiatives, including presentation, trade show, and B2B materials. Built close relationships with account and insight teams to strengthen client partnerships.
